Our Advanced Latin American Spanish course is designed for learners who already communicate confidently in Spanish and want to refine their fluency, accuracy, and expressive range. Classes run once a week for 2 hours over 12 weeks (or twice a week for 1.5 hours over 8 weeks in the Intensive format), and learners complete 1.5–2 hours of weekly self-study at home to deepen and consolidate what is covered in class. The programme is aimed at advanced learners who want to use Spanish with precision and ease in complex, real-life contexts.

We work with advanced-level materials and curated cultural content from across Latin America. Lessons focus strongly on discussion, listening, and authentic input, while fine-tuning grammar, expanding sophisticated vocabulary, and exploring stylistic and regional variation. You will engage with real texts, audio, and video, and learn to adapt your Spanish to different registers, contexts, and accents.

You will also develop a deeper understanding of Latin American Spanish varieties, including regional expressions, discourse styles, and cultural references, allowing you to adapt your language naturally to different countries and contexts.

A minimum number of students is required to open each group. If you miss a session, all classes are recorded so you can review or catch up at any time.
